Current Height (from the top of the pot) 1100mm

This flexible and extremely popular feature plant is ideal in any garden. It is a smaller growing, bushier form of the lilly pilly that produces both fluffy white flowers and long-lasting berries. Its easy maintenance and beautiful features makes it an additional aspect to all gardens.

  • Australian native plant

  • Fluffy white flowers in spring to summer

  • Long-lasting red and purple berries
  • Responds extremely well to any form of shaping
  • Frost and drought tolerant

Position:

Full sun to part shade.

Ideal For:

  • Shaping

  • Hedging (both formal and informal)
  • General garden plant
  • Topiary shapes

Plant Apart:

350mm to 450mm apart for hedging.

Height at Maturity:

To 5m but can be pruned to any height          


Environmental Requirements:

  • Soil:

    • Performs best in deep, loamy soils

    • Avoid poorly drained soil
  • Climate:
    • Can tolerate a range of climates
  • Durability:
    • Psyllid resistant

Care:

  • Great results occur from regular feeding (recommended organic or all purpose fertiliser)

  • Use slow release fertiliser in spring (preferably one that lasts 12 months)
  • Extremely easy to look after

  • Trimming once or twice a year provokes beautiful new growth - Remember that the more you cut your plants back to give them a shape, the more rewards you gain!
