One of the most common questions we get asked at our nursery is, "How Close Should We Plant for a Hedge?"
Well we will try explain this simply.
The faster the effect you want, the more plants you use.
Here are some rough numbers for 200mm Pots.
If you want a fast hedge, plant about 450mm apart.
If you have time to burn, then you can plant most 200mm Pots up to 800mm apart.
Again this is quite broad, but includes varieties like Buxus Japonica, Lillypilly, Murraya, Photinia's
