Botanical Name: Cupaniopsis Anacardioides Bags

Common Name: Tuckeroo, Carrotwood, Beach Tamarind and Green-leaved Tamarind.

The Cupaniopsis Anacardioides is an evergreen tree with a widely spread crown. Its seasonal changes will bring yellow/green flowers which blossom into orange berries in the spring. Whilst the tree functions predominantly as a specimen tree it is a great feature in a large landscape and is also bird attracting.

  • Evergreen, medium tree
  • Widely spread crown
  • Rich green foliage
  • Glossy black seeds which blossom into yellow/green flowers followed by orange flesh berries in the spring
  • Will grow up to an average of 10 meters
  • Smooth grey bark
