Chinese Jasmine or Trachlespermum jasminoides Information

As the name suggests, the Star Jasmine originated in China, and is used in many countries as an evergreen climber or hedging screen.

As a wonderful fragrance hedge? Look no further! Chinese star jasmine is a proven winner in all these fields. One of the most popular plants we supply. 

With light green young leaves, then dark green and glossy mature leaves plus the world famous fragrant white flowers. This plant performs when cut regularly during Spring and Summer. Moderate, general, slow release fertiliser works best in Spring. 

Growth habbit is almost shrub like if cut back and supported initially.

Trachelospermum asiaticum is from the same species, and is similar in perfume, but has a smaller leaf & grows as ground cover plant by habbit.
